Man Sentenced In Strangulation, Assault Of Female Victim
Steven Davis has been sentenced in the strangulation, suffocation and assault of a female victim whose vehicle he then stole.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Steven Davis has been sentenced to prison after he was convicted on charges tied to suffocating a woman until she passed out.
Prosecutors said Davis was found guilty in April of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and theft between $1,500 and $25,000.
According to the Howard County Office of the State's Attorney, evidence presented at trial showed that Davis strangled his victim, leaving her unable to breathe. He then covered her face with a pillow and suffocated her until she lost consciousness.
