These MD Restaurants Will Be Open, Offering Deals For Christmas 2025

Not everyone wants to cook Christmas Eve supper or Christmas Day dinner, but there will be some places open that will cook up something scrumptious for your group — if you get a reservation now before they’re snapped up.

Several national chains are also open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or both. Be sure to call ahead, as hours may vary by location. Reservations are a good idea in some cases.

Other Maryland eateries are also offering special deals to tempt holiday diners, including Chipotle and KFC.

Restaurants Open On Christmas Eve, Day

Applebee’s will be open both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Arby’s will be open on Christmas Eve, but not Christmas Day.

Bar Louie is open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Benihana is open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day; reservations are recommended.

Burger King: BK is continuing to "spread the holiday cheer during the most Whopper-ful time of year" with its 13 Days of Deals and Holiday Hunt promotions. From Dec. 12-24, customers can find the daily deals on the app.

Chipotle: In December, Chipotle will give rewards members extra treats in the app with surprise drops like free guac, double protein, chips or a free drink, delivered directly to their Rewards wallets.

KFC: Snag the Extra Crispy Festive Feast for $25. Customers get eight pieces of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and a gravy flight featuring classic, white peppercorn, and southwest cheddar gravy.

McDonald's: Via the McDonald's app, you can participate in their 12 days of Christmas with new $2 deals every a.m. and every p.m. through Dec. 23.

Shake Shack: In December, the New York City-based burger chain is rolling out freebies on menu favorites with any $10 purchase when customers use the code SHACKCHEER at checkout.

Sonic: Customers can get one free Coke, Diet Coke or Coke Zero Sugar, any size, with unlimited flavor add-ins, when they make any in-app purchase. The deal is good through Dec. 28.

Starbucks: While it’s not guaranteed free food, Starbucks Rewards members can win freebies like drinks, bakery items, and even bonus stars. Plus, customers have the chance to win the biggest of all prizes — a year of free Starbucks or “Starbucks for Life” via the Starbucks for Life game.

Wendy's: Every Friday in December, customers can get a free any-size fries with a qualifying purchase (often $5+) in the Wendy’s app.

Whataburger: From Dec. 12-23, Whataburger is giving rewards members access to a fresh in-app offer every day. Customers can sign in to their account and click to claim the day's deal in the app.
