MD Weather: Thanksgiving Week Forecast Details Released
Are you traveling this week for the holiday? Here are new details on the Thanksgiving week weather forecast in Maryland.
MARYLAND — The best weather day of the next seven days is, thankfully, Thanksgiving Day. Sunshine and temperatures in the mid- to upper 50s are forecast on the holiday across Maryland.
Before we get to Thanksgiving, we're looking at rain developing Sunday evening and ending Monday morning. Less than a half inch of rain is forecast.
Sunshine will return Monday afternoon and temperatures will be in the low 50s. It will be cooler on Tuesday and Wednesday with temperatures in the mid - to upper 40s.

After a 24-hour warm-up on Thanksgiving Day, it's back into the 40s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No major rain or snow chances in the forecast.
The Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang said weather shouldn't hinder travel in the DC/Virginia/Maryland region this week. It will feel wintry on Tuesday with wind chills in the 30s under mostly sunny skies, and overnight lows dropping into the mid-20s to near 30. Temperatures warm up Wednesday to the upper-40s to low-50s.

And Thanksgiving Day's forecast is for partly sunny skies and mild temps with highs in the mid-50s to near 60.
If you're wondering when we may see snow, The Weather Channel is forecasting no snow chances through at least Dec. 5.

Sunday Night: Isolated showers before 8pm, then showers after 11pm. Low around 44. South wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Monday: Showers, mainly before 11am. High near 52. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 29. Northwest wind 7 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 45. Northwest wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 29. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 49.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33.
Thanksgiving Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57.
Thursday Night: A chance of showers after 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Friday: A chance of showers before 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 49. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 30.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 48.
