Motorcyclist Killed After Being Thrown From Bike
A man died after he lost control of his motorcycle in Laurel and was ejected from the bike, Howard County Police report.
LAUREL, MD — A man has died after Howard County Police say the motorcycle he was driving left the road, causing him to be thrown from the bike.
According to police, the incident happened early Saturday morning in Laurel. The man was driving a 2012 Honda CBR600RR motorcycle west on Route 216 past Crest Road around 5:30 a.m. when he veered off the road, was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene, police report.
Route 216 westbound in the area of the Oct. 25 crash was closed for approximately 3.5 hours. The investigation is ongoing, the police department stated.
