Special COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics For Howard County Residents Start Oct. 30

Special COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be held for groups of Howard County residents starting Oct. 30.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — In his state of the county address Wednesday, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball announced upcoming special COVID-19 vaccine clinics carried out in partnership with the Howard County Health Department, Centennial Medical Group and the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

Clinics will be held on the following dates and times for certain age groups:

  • Beginning Oct. 30, HCHD will host special clinics for children 11 years old and younger. This includes toddlers and babies. HCHD is the only health department in the state to bring COVID-19 boosters to elementary schools.
  • On Nov. 17, Ball will host a senior clinic at the Bain 50+ Center for older adults to get vaccinated.
  • Uninsured adults can get a COVID-19 booster and flu shot at HCHD on Mondays and Fridays.
