Woman Shot By Friend + Man Assaulted During Home Invasion: Howard County Police
A woman reported being shot by her friend in Jessup and drove herself to a hospital. A man reported being assaulted during a home invasion.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A woman was shot by a friend then drove herself to the hospital this week, according to police.
Howard County Police reported that on June 17 around 6:11 p.m., officers were called to a location in the 8700 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup for a report of a shooting. They learned that the victim had been shot and drove herself to the hospital. During their investigation, police determined that the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between two women, the police department stated.
Police found the suspect, Sabrina Khouri, 28, of Laurel, and arrested her. She's been charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder.

Also on June 17 around 10:20 p.m., Howard County Police were called to a home in the 6300 block of Harthorn Avenue in Elkridge for a report of a home invasion. A man told police that three other men entered his home, pulled out guns, assaulted him and stole various items before taking off. No one was injured, the police department stated.
