Car Speeding Through Crofton Contained Loaded Gun, Drugs: Police
A driver speeding through Crofton along Route 3 early Tuesday morning faces charges for drugs and having a loaded gun.
CROFTON, MD — An Anne Arundel County police officer spied a car speeding along Route 3 in Crofton Tuesday at approximately 12:30 a.m. The officer pulled over the car and then searched the vehicle. The officer discovered a loaded Taurus 709 slim .9mm handgun under the driver's seat.
The handgun was loaded with one round in the chamber and nine rounds in the magazine; it also had the serial number removed. The officer also found 7.69 grams of suspected marijuana in the vehicle. It was discovered that the suspect was prohibited from possessing a firearm. The officer arrested 20-year-old Boluwatife Oluwatobi Ajifowowe of Baltimore in the incident.
