Crofton Home Gets Spot in National Commercial
A house on Shaftsbury Avenue will get some air time in a commercial for an insurance company.
The home at 1771 Shaftsbury Ave. is just like many others in the Crofton community. Nice size, backing up to a golf course view, with screened in porch and a kitchen with new countertops.
But this house could get some bigger attention after being filmed as part of a national commercial for an insurance company.
The home, owned by Linda Sebold, is for sale and served as a backdrop for a series of vignettes featuring Crofton residents.
The commercial for Trusted Choice Insurance is expected to air next month on Fox News Channel and other cable networks as soon as next month. Shots for the 30-second spot were filmed on Shaftsbury Avenue and along Wickham Way.
The Capital-Gazette reported that Crofton was selected because it was the hometown of the director, Susan Nester, a media director for the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.
