Football Preview: Meade Takes on Old Mill, South River Battles Broadneck
Here's a look at schedule of Friday night football games this week.
All games at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Old Mill at Meade - This could prove to be the most important county game of the season. Both teams are 2-0 and the winner will have the inside track on the county title.
South River at Broadneck - Both teams are 1-1 on the season and will likely need a win here to have a shot at the top three in the county.
Arundel at North County - Arundel (1-1) had a tough loss to Old Mill last week, but should grab a win against the Knights (1-1) Glen Burnie.
Southern at Northeast - A battle of two of the smaller schools in the county, to be played in Pasadena. Both teams are 1-1 on the year.
Severna Park at Chesapeake - Chesapeake opened its county season with a big 59-0 win against North County. Severna Park is 1-1 after a beating Southern but falling to Arundel.
Annapolis at Glen Burnie - The Panthers have two losses by a combined 13 points, but could get in the win column against the Gophers (1-1) Friday.
