Former Gambrills Resident Sentenced in Illegal Escort Case
Prosecutors said Young Sok Chang illegally harbored women in his home. They were employed to entertain people at bars in Northern Virginia.

A former Gambrills resident who plead guilty to illegally harboring Korean women to work in his escort business has been sentenced to more than two years in jail.
A judge last week sentenced Youn Sok Chang to two years and nine months in prison, The Washington Post reported. He was accused of harboring more than 25 illegal immigrants from Korea.
Chang reportedly operated his "entertainment" business in Northern Virginia, but once resided in Gambrills, the Post reported.
The actual business that Chang operated, known as a "doumi," involved women who were paid to flirt, dance and sing to men in exchange for money. Operating the business is not against the law, but Chang found himself in legal trouble when authorities learned that many of the women were in the country illegally.
