Man Wanted in Robbery of Columbia Bank in Gambrills

Police said a man walked into the bank just before noon and handed an employee a note demanding money.

Anne Arundel County police are investigating a robbery Saturday at the Columbia Bank at the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre.

Police said a man entered the Gambrills bank and showed a note to an employee demanding money. The employee complied, and the man left the bank and drove off in a minivan. The van was last seen traveling south on Route 3. 

Police described the suspect as a white man about 35 years old, with a reddish brown goatee and blue eyes. He stands about 5'10" tall, police said.
