Tornado Watch Affects After-School Programs

After-school activities across county schools have been moved inside due to inclement weather, a school system spokesman said.

Anne Arundel County Public School System spokesman Bob Mosier said due to the tornado watch issued for Anne Arundel County until 5 p.m., all school-sponsored activities are to occur indoors. Outdoor activities must be moved or canceled.

The storm would not affect school dismissal times, Mosier said.
