Walgreens Attempted Robbery: Hunt For Suspect Continues: Police

CROFTON, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are searching for a man who told workers at a Crofton Walgreens Pharmacy he was there to rob the store.

A bout 8:15 p.m. Saturday the man came into the Walgreens at 2633 Brandermill Boulevard. Store employees said the man wore a ski mask entered the business with his hands in his pockets and announced a robbery.

No weapon was shown.

An employee opened the register, at which time the robbery suspect said he was joking and left the store.

Police said it is unknown if the suspect left in a vehicle or on foot.
