What's Open, Closed In Crofton On Christmas

CROFTON, MD — Many government services change their hours around holidays. Here is what's opened and closed in Crofton around Christmas, which is on Saturday, Dec. 25:

Government Offices: Anne Arundel County and Annapolis government offices will be closed Friday and Saturday.

Courts: Courts will be closed Friday and Saturday. Court hours are listed here.

Parks: All outdoor county parks will be open for their normal hours. Park hours are listed here. This interactive map shows the parks closest to you.

In Annapolis, the Pip Moyer Recreation Center will close at 1 p.m. on Friday. The Stanton Community Center will be closed on Friday. Both sites will be closed on Saturday.

Libraries: The Anne Arundel County Public Library will be closed Thursday through Sunday. A full list of library hours and contact information is posted here.

Post Offices: Post offices will be open Friday and closed Saturday.

Trash And Recycling: All landfills and recycling centers will be closed Friday and Saturday. In Anne Arundel County, curbside collection will continue as normal. A schedule of all Anne Arundel County trash and recycling operations is available here.

Annapolis trash pickup will also continue on its usual schedule. Anybody with questions about the city's trash removal should reach out to Annapolis Public Works.

Buses: The Annapolis bus system will run a regular weekday schedule on Friday with no evening Purple Line service. No buses will run on Saturday.

The County Connector will operate on a Sunday schedule this Saturday.

On Friday, Anne Arundel County's paratransit will run as normal. All fixed routes will use an abbreviated Saturday schedule on Christmas Eve until 7 p.m. The South County Call N Ride will operate until 5 p.m. Friday.

There will not be any county-operated bus service on Saturday.

Trains: The MARC train will operate Friday, but not Saturday. All MARC schedules are listed on its website. The Light RailLink will run all weekend. The Light RailLink's schedule is posted here.
