What's Open, Closed In Crofton On Good Friday, Easter, Passover

CROFTON, MD — Many government services change their hours around holidays. Here is what's opened and closed in Crofton on Good Friday (April 15), Easter (April 17) and Passover (April 15 through April 23).

Schools: Anne Arundel County Public Schools and central offices are closed for spring break through Monday. Classes resume Tuesday. The school calendar is available at this link.

Government Offices: Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis government offices will be closed Friday.

Courts: Courts will be open for their normal Monday through Friday hours. Court hours are listed here.

Parks: This interactive map shows the parks closest to you and their hours.

In Annapolis, the Pip Moyer Recreation Center will be open every day except Sunday. The Stanton Community Center will be closed Friday and Sunday.

Libraries: The Anne Arundel County Public Library will be open every day except Sunday. A full list of library hours and contact information is posted here.

Post Offices: Post offices will be closed Sunday only.

Trash And Recycling: All landfills and recycling centers will be closed Friday and Sunday, but curbside collection will continue as planned. A schedule of all Anne Arundel County trash and recycling operations is available here.

City of Annapolis trash pickup will also follow its normal schedule. Anybody with questions about the city's trash removal should contact Annapolis Public Works.

Buses: Annapolis transit will use a Sunday schedule on Friday. That means the Purple bus will operate from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The State Shuttle will go from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The County Connector will operate on a Sunday schedule this Friday and Sunday.

These Anne Arundel County bus routes will use a Saturday schedule this Friday:

• 204 Brooklyn Park Connector
• Gold
• Yellow

These county lines will not operate at all on Friday:

• Crofton Connector
• ParaTransit
• South County Call N' Ride

These routes will run on their Sunday schedules on Sunday:

• 201
• 202
• Gold

These lines will not run on Sunday:

• 204 Brooklyn Park Connector
• Crofton Connector
• South County Call N' Ride
• Yellow

Trains: The MARC train will operate Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All MARC schedules are listed on its website. The Light RailLink will also run all weekend. The Light RailLink's schedule is posted here.
