What's Open, Closed In Crofton On Martin Luther King Jr. Day

CROFTON, MD — Many government services change their hours around holidays. Here is what's opened and closed in Crofton around Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is on Monday, Jan. 17:

Schools: Anne Arundel County Public Schools and central offices will be closed on Monday. The school calendar is available at this link.

Government Offices: Anne Arundel County and Annapolis government offices will be closed Monday.

Courts: Courts will be closed Monday. Court hours are listed here.

Parks: This interactive map shows the parks closest to you and their hours.

In Annapolis, the Pip Moyer Recreation Center will be open for its normal Monday schedule. The Stanton Community Center will be closed.

Libraries: The Anne Arundel County Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday. A full list of library hours and contact information is posted here.

Post Offices: Post offices will be closed Monday.

Trash And Recycling: All landfills and recycling centers will be closed Monday, but curbside collection will continue as planned. A schedule of all Anne Arundel County trash and recycling operations is available here.

Annapolis trash pickup will also follow its normal schedule. Anybody with questions about the city's trash removal should reach out to Annapolis Public Works.

Buses: Annapolis transit will use a reduced-service Sunday schedule on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. That means the Purple bus will operate from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The State Shuttle will go from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The County Connector will operate on a Sunday schedule this Monday.

• 202 Route
• Gold Routes (Both)

These county lines will not operate at all on Monday:

• 204 Route
• Call N Ride
• Crofton Connector
• Paratransit
• Yellow Route
