Woman Hit By Pickup, Other Vehicles In Critical Condition: Police
A woman was hit by a pickup, which didn't stop, then was hit by other vehicles while walking on Crain Highway south of Crofton, police say.
CROFTON, MD — A 25-year-old woman remains in critical condition after being hit by several vehicles while walking on Crain Highway south of Crawford Boulevard in Crofton shortly before 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the woman was first hit by the driver-side mirror of a passing vehicle believed to be a Ford pickup, which failed to stop. The woman then was hit by other passing vehicles, all of which didn't stop either, the police department said. The woman was taken to an area trauma center.
Police officers are searching for the pickup that first the woman, which is described as a 1999-2007 Ford SuperDuty truck that's missing a telescoping driver-side mirror. Anyone with any information is asked to call Traffic Safty at 410-222-8573 or the TipLine 410-222-4700 immediately.
