Officials say the changes, set for FY2026, could discourage reckless boating and better align Caroline’s prices with neighboring counties without increasing costs for local residents.

Dunkirk man injured in Fatal Caroline Co crash (southernmarylandchronicle.com) β€” A deadly rollover crash on Greensboro Road near Denton early Sunday killed a Church Hill man and seriously injured a Dunkirk driver, shutting the key connector route for hours. Investigators are reconstructing the scene, analyzing vehicle data, and asking Denton-area drivers or residents who saw anything to contact the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Solvers with tips.
