$100K COVID Vaccination Incentive Given To Dundalk Amazon Driver
A man from Dundalk won $100K in Amazon's COVID-19 employee vaccination incentive program; he'll use the money to bring his family to the US.
DUNDALK, MD — In the battle against the coronavirus pandemic, Amazon offered up to $2 million in prizes for its employees who participated in the "max your vax" promotion. Idanny Jose Cuevas of Dundalk, who is an industrial driver for Amazon, luckily won $100,000 through the incentive.
Cuevas immigrated from the Dominican Republic two years ago and plans to use the winnings to buy a home and help bring his wife and kids to the United States.
“I chose to get vaccinated,” Cuevas told WJZ, “because I wanted to be part of ending the pandemic. It is not just for me, but for all of those around me.”
