I have informed many people about the deeply entrenched fiasco that is the - failed - VA proposed development of Ft. Howard VAMC property.
Most people who went there to explore or hang out are essentially innocent, due to not knowing the VA has plans to redevelop the property.
In 2006, I published my first article about Ft. Howard VAMC. Read what the place means to veteran patients, our family & friends, and staff.
I am waiting to see what the outcome is on this lawsuit against Ft. Howard Development Tim Munshell that was in court on Jan. 18, 2017.
Tim Munshell signed a lease to the Ft. Howard VAMC, 5-yrs ago, saying he would build a community for vets. He hasn't begun, and can't do it.
