
Dundalk's 79th annual Independence Day parade, with the theme of "Dundalk Salutes the Champions," kicks off at 8:15 a.m. Thursday from the Logan Village Shopping Center on Dundalk Avenue.
The time-honored procession is sponsored by the Heritage Fair Association and the Dundalk Heritage Parade Committee and is hosted by the Optimist Club of Dundalk.
After leaving the shopping center, the parade will travel north on Dundalk Avenue, east on Belclare Road, north on Liberty Parkway, west on Dunglow Road, west on Dunmanway, north on Shipping Place, east on Shipway, north on Admiral Boulevard and south on Liberty Parkway, ending at Dunmanway.
