Baltimore County Police: Circumstances Behind Shooting Remain Under Investigation

On Sunday, March 13, 2022, at approximately 10 p.m., Baltimore County police officers responded to the 1000 block of Howland Square, 21227, in reference to a disturbance/shooting.

A preliminary investigation determined a resident at the location discharged their firearm after a known individual forcefully entered the property. The person, who entered the home, suffered a single gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim’s injury did not appear to be life threatening.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Violent Crimes Unit continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
