Costumed Adults Celebrated Halloween Saturday in Dundalk

Many Dundalk-Edgemere pubs and restaurants held Halloween parties and costume contests Saturday night.

Saturday night seemed to be the big night that pubs and restaurants across Edgemere-Dundalk invited adults to participate in the one of the holidays most looked forward to by children.

While kids fill their sacks with sugary treats, many businesses hold costume contests for adults with the promise of cash prizes, live music or karaoke and food and beverage specials.

On Saturday night, Edgemere residents Erin Helmacy (a dalmation) and Megan McCaskill as Cruella DeVille paid homage to the Disney film 101 Dalmations.

The two met up at the Bay Shore Bar and Grill Saturday night before making the rounds with a group of friends dressed up as dalmations and, of course, a couple of dog catchers.
