Dundalk, MD — Back-to-school season brings a mix of excitement and nerves — for students, parents and staff alike. Thankfully, Dundalk is home to everyday school heroes who help make the transition smoother and the school year a little brighter.

Please describe why this individual is a hero at your school.

Bryan is our cafeteria manager. He greets everyone with a smile. He is extremely hard worker and doesn’t mind helping us lunch ladies whenever possible. He has a good crew and he knows it. He thanks us often for our hard worker.

How do you know the school hero you’re nominating?

He’s my boss. And an excellent one to say the least.

What should your community know about this person?

Bryan is married with 2 small children ... I’m sure he’s a great husband and father because he really is a good person. His family doesn’t stop him from being a hard worker and taking care of his staff. He has a way a making the day better when sometimes it didn’t start too well. Good luck Bryan.
