From teachers and tutors to bus drivers, cafeteria staff, crossing guards and more, these caring individuals bring steady support and positivity to our schools. To recognize their many contributions — big and small — Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to salute the unsung heroes of back-to-school.

Please describe why this individual is a hero at your school.

Bryan is our cafeteria manager. He greets everyone with a smile. He is extremely hard worker and doesn’t mind helping us lunch ladies whenever possible. He has a good crew and he knows it. He thanks us often for our hard worker.

How do you know the school hero you’re nominating?

He’s my boss. And an excellent one to say the least.

What should your community know about this person?

Bryan is married with 2 small children ... I’m sure he’s a great husband and father because he really is a good person. His family doesn’t stop him from being a hard worker and taking care of his staff. He has a way a making the day better when sometimes it didn’t start too well. Good luck Bryan. You deserve recognition.
