Lotto Game Lands $17K Prize For Dundalk Woman
A retired Dundalk woman has more than $17,000 after winning her favorite Maryland Lottery game.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A 58-year-old Dundalk woman couldn't believe her luck when her favorite Maryland Lottery game, Racetrax, netted her $17,221. She was at the Full House Saloon in Baltimore when she placed a trifecta box bet for one race using the numbers 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12.
The lucky Dundalk resident hoped her horses would cross the finish line together, in the correct order, and they did. However, the Racetrax fan missed the race because she had already left Full House Saloon to go home. She did check the results of her game after arriving home. To her surprise, the message on the Maryland Lottery app showed she had won.
“I have a strategy, you know,” she told Lottery officials after claiming the prize, “but I’m not going to reveal my secret.”
