More Rain, M&T Bank Stadium Upgrades, Cactus Willie's King of the Hill?
Patch shows off the upgrades unveiled at M&T Bank Stadium as well as new food items planned for the football season's menu.

1. The Weather: Wednesday will be another rainy day, with showers and thunderstorms likely throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service. The day will be cloudy, with a high of about 81 degrees.
The chance of showers and thunderstorms continues throughout the night, with the low expected to be about 76.

From history.com's This Day in History: "On this day in 1947, Kon-Tiki, a balsa wood raft captained by Norwegian anthropologist Thor Heyerdahl, completes a 4,300-mile, 101-day journey from Peru to Raroia in the Tuamotu Archipelago, near Tahiti. Heyerdahl wanted to prove his theory that prehistoric South Americans could have colonized the Polynesian islands by drifting on ocean currents."

5. The Cactus Willie's restaurant on Eastern Avenue is now the lone remaining eatery in the chain, according to Lancasteronline.com. The Cactus Willie's on Rohrerstown Road in Lancaster closed, leaving just the Essex location in business.
