Readers React Positively to Del. Olszewski's Idea To Address Homelessness

Del. John Olszewski Jr.'s proposal attracted many positive reactions from readers.

Del. John Olszewski Jr.'s column about using a vacant shopping center to serve as a center for homeless services attracted many responses from readers—mostly positive.

The District 6 Democrat wrote that "the recent decision by the Dundalk United Methodist Church to cancel plans for a homeless shelter in the heart of the Old Dundalk community has brought the issue of homelessness into the forefront."

In the article, he proposed using the "now-vacant Diamond Point Shopping Center" as an acceptable location to "provide services for both Dundalk and Essex residents in need."
