Reward Now Up to $5,000 in Search for Hit-and-Run Driver That Killed Keith Tawney
Tawney was walking alone on North Point Boulevard Aug. 23 when he was fatally struck by a driver that fled the scene.

Baltimore County police are still searching for the driver in a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a 23-year-old man in Dundalk.
The police department's investigation indicated the pedestrian, Keith Curtis Tawney of the 2500 block of Lodge Forrest Drive, was walking in a south-bouhd lane of North Point Boulevard, south of Cove Road, around 12:50 a.m. Aug. 23 when an unknown vehicle traveling in the same direction struck him and left the scene.
Tawney was declared dead at the scene.

Police said crash scene investigators have been working hard to identify the driver, but need the public's help. In the time since the accident, Crime Stoppers has offered up to $2,000 toward a reward, and friends and family have joined together to offer another $3,000, for any tips that made lead to the identification and capture of the person responsible.
Police believe the car involved in the crash may have sustained damage to the front end, including the headlight, hood and fender areas.
