The week of July 23 was a busy one in Dundalk and around the state.

Residents could see a hike in utility costs if BGE gets the increase it is proposing; U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski is urging executives at bankrupt RG Steel to turn down bonuses recently approved by a federal bankruptcy court judge; and an Edgemere man was charged with sexually abusing an Essex boy.
