3 SRYA Athletes Competing for Illustrious Soccer Squad
The three boys are shooting for a spot in the impressive Olympic Development Program soccer team, pitting the state's top talent against one another.

Three local, young athletes were recently selected to try out for positions with the nationally recognized Maryland Olympic Development Program (ODP) soccer team this coming spring.
Drew Peterson, Michael Grigsby and Michael Daily, athletes from the South River Youth Athletics’ (SRYA) U11 soccer academy, were hand picked to compete with 185 other boys for positions on the ODP team. The nationally recognized team is an entry-level program to identify the state’s best players and compete in various tournaments.
Some of the top players at nationally ranked college programs got their start with ODP programs throughout the country.
