8 South County Schools Awarded for Exam Performance

The Maryland State Department of Education gave six of the schools two separate awards for performance on the MSAs and HSAs.

The Maryland State Department of Education awarded eight south county schools for their achievements on the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) and High School Assessment (HAS) in 2011.

The south county schools were among 59 others in the state recognized for their performance on the exams.

According to release by Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS), the following south county schools will receive a certificate of recognition.

Additionally, six of the schools previously mentioned received an additional award for “their improvement in performance among student groups,” according to the release. Those schools are:
