A four-car accident on Mayo Road in front of  sent three people to the hospital and caused significant traffic delays Tuesday afternoon. Three people suffered minor injuries in the accident, according to Anne Arundel Fire Department spokesman Capt. James Rostek. Emergency personnel transported all three to .  Identifications of the injured were unavailable. The initial report of the accident at the 100 block of Mayo Road came in at about 2:10 p.m., Rostek said. About 70 minutes after the accident, traffic was flowing smoothly on Mayo.
