Davidsonville Girl Stars as Alice in 'Alice in Wonderland'

Chrissy Scott, 10, takes on the role of "medium-sized Alice" in the CTA's production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. starting April 13.

A 10-year-old from Davidsonville is set to shine next weekend as she takes on the theatrical role of Alice in the Children's Theatre of Annapolis' (CTA) production of Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Chrissy Scott, 10, attends Davidsonville Elementary and will portray the medium-sized Alice throughout the production.

As reported on Broadneck Patch, the production's director Dylan Roche casted three different Alice's to maximize the effect of her character's size transformations.

"[This will] maximize the effect of Alice shrinking and growing as she drinks from a bottle and eats a cookie at the advice of the Door Knob," according to a CTA release.

The changing sizes is exactly where Chrissy comes in. She'll be playing the part of the medium-sized Alice along with Emily Small, 9, from Crofton Elementary and Ella Green, 12, from the Severn School, according to The Baltimore Sun.
