Kitty Jane Simpson, 73, of Shady Side. Died Monday. Survived by her husband, three daughters, one sister and nine grandchildren. Simpson enjoyed playing slots in Delaware, cheering for the Washington Redskins and spending time with her grandchildren.

Rosemary Helen Burris, 90, of Edgewater. Died Saturday. Survived by her three sons, a daughter, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Burris loved playing golf and spent 20 years working for the Justice Department in Washington, DC.
