Edward “Ed” James Lechert, Jr., age 69, of Edgewater, died July 30 at his home. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post 226 in Mayo.

Sean J. Brannon, 45, a resident of Annapolis for 11 months and previously of Edgewater, died suddenly on July 28, 2013 in Annapolis. He enjoyed cars, crabbing and boating with his family. Sean will be remembered for his contagious smile, his ability to make people laugh and the way he could make anyone his "buddy".
