Edgewater Police To Raise Money For Special Olympics With 'Cover The Cruiser' Event
Edgewater police officers will hold a Cover the Cruiser event to support Special Olympics Maryland at the Edgewater Chick-Fil-A Friday.
EDGEWATER, MD — Edgewater police officers will hold a Cover the Cruiser event to support Special Olympics Maryland at the Edgewater Chik-Fil-A Friday, Aug. 25.
Customers can donate money to Special Olympics Maryland when they purchase a paper Pin-Up and place it on a police cruiser in the parking lot. The goal is to "cover the cruiser" and officers are working to collect as many donations as possible.
Cover the Cruiser is a fundraising event sponsored by Law Enforcement Torch Run. Several Baltimore area Chick-Fil-A locations will participate in the event. For more information about this fundraiser, visit here.
