Gilbert the Cat in Need of Good Home
Its owner isn't a "cat person," and is hoping to find Gilbert a good home.

After being left at a Riverdale business more than a year ago, Gilbert, the local homeless cat is looking for a permanent address.
The cat’s temporary owner cannot keep her anymore so he’s looking to find it a new home. The owners’ neighbor, Chuck Saunders, is working to get the word out about “Gilbert.”
“I don’t like cats at all, but this cat is snuggling and everything. It’s a good cat,” Saunders said. “It’s very affectionate and love people.”

Gilbert's age is unknown but she seems very well trained, Saunders said, referencing that she prefers the indoors and doesn’t run outside even if a door is open.
Saunders and the cat’s owner hopes they can find a new home for the feline soon.

“As long as it’s a good home, that’s all we’re looking for,” Saunders said. “The cat will come with new food, a new litter box and some toys.”
