Honeydipper Boat Releases Pump-Out Cleaning Schedule
Local boat owners with vessels on the West/Rhode Rivers can have their septic tanks cleaned by scheduling an appointment with The Honeydipper.

The Honeydipper pump-out boat will make its way down the West and Rhode rivers next month to help vessels clear their septic tanks without polluting the waters.
According to a release by the West/Rhode Riverkeeper, a community-supported environmental organization that protects nearby waters, the special pump-out boat offers a relatively inexpensive service to boat owners.
“Many boaters—who often do not go to pump-out stations because of the time and expense involved—discharge their septic tanks directly into the water, adding harmful nutrients and bacteria to the rivers,” West/Rhode Riverkeeper said in the release.

Boat owners who are members of the organization receive a $50 credit for the pump-out service. Non-members will be charged $5 per pump-out, according to the release.
