Pizza Man Robbed Leaving Work in Deale
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and police are still searching for a suspect.
A Domino's Pizza employee said he was robbed at gunpoint in Deale on Saturday as he was leaving work for the night, according to Anne Arundel County police.
The man told police that he was leaving the store located in the 5700 block of Deale Churchton Road after 1 a.m. Saturday when he was approached by a man with a dark-colored handgun.
The man demanded money and a cell phone. The victim said he turned over the items and the man fled on foot, police said.
A K-9 unit, the police department's aviation unit and numerous officers searched the area following the robbery, but were unable to locate the suspect.
