Marie Theresa Nelson “Memaw," of Edgewater, died Sept. 29. She was 83. In addition to pedicures, manicures and getting her hair done, Marie also enjoyed reading, watching Notre Dame Football, riding horses, spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
Irene H. Millard, of Edgewater, died Sept. 22. She was 90. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Rd., Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
Lewis “Butch” Trainum, a 40-year resident of Edgewater, died Sept. 21. He was 69. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Old Guard which provides memorial honors to current and former military members at Arlington National Cemetery. Butch was a member of Plumbers Local #5, retiring after a 50-year career. Donations may be made to the American Legion Post 226, P.O. Box 66, Mayo, MD 21106.
