Photographing Pups for a Worthy Cause

Visual Concepts in Davidsonville is raising funds for Canine Companions for Independence.

It’s safe to say Visual Concepts photographer Linda McCarthy has a soft sport for dogs and babies.

Already this year, the Davidsonville photographer has raised $21,000 for or Anne Arundel Medical Center’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

She has also donated her time to raise funds for Companions for Heroes (C4H), which provides companion animals to active duty military personnel, military veterans, and first-responders recovering from psychological challenges.

If those two charity endeavors weren’t enough, McCarthy is once again raising money for animals in need. This time, McCarty is offering pet portraits for the Dog Days of Summer campaign to benefit Canine Companions for Independence (CCI).

According to its website, CCI is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support.

In an effort to help CCI, Visual Concepts is offering pet portraits, where in lieu of a session fee, pet owners can donate $50 to CCI and have their pet photographed by McCarthy.
