Police Seize Cocaine Worth $21K in Drug Investigation

Anne Arundel County police seized more than $21,000 worth of cocaine and arrested a man Friday morning, concluding an extended drug investigation in Harwood, according to a police statement.
William Ranaldo Brown, 48, of the 4300 block of Muddy Creek Road in Harwood, was charged with possession of cocaine and intent-to-distribute.
At about 6 a.m. on Friday, the Southern District Police Station’s tactical patrol unit executed a search warrant at a home on the 4300 block of Muddy Creek Road in Harwood. During the search, officers found 243 grams of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia, police said.

The cocaine and other drug items are worth approximately $21,897, according to the release.
During the search, officers seized a 1995 Chevrolet pick-up truck, $510 and arrested Brown, according to the statement.

Southern district narcotic detectives and special operations personnel assisted in the investigation, police said.
