Reunited: Chihuahua Sasha Finds Her Way Home
Edgewater-Davidsonvile Patch readers helped this pup reunite with her owners after being lost for four days.

On Friday morning, Patch posted this notice, alerting Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch readers to the plight of a sweet little Chihuahua who had somehow become separated from her owners on Monday.
The response from the community was overwhelming, with the post being shared on Facebook nearly 130 times. And, all those shares paid off, as the little pup, named Sasha, is at home today in the arms of a very relieved pet parent.
Patch received this email last night from reader Brandy Valdez, who found Sasha wandering around on Governor's Bridge Road Monday:
"Hi Jenni, GREAT NEWS!!! the little white Chihuahua is HOME!! Her name is Sasha and was very excited to return home to her mom. Sasha knew she was she was home when we pulled in the driveway. And to top things off, Sasha's vet read your posting and called her mom. Thank you so much for your help. This is the second time (that I know) that you have directly affected the outcome of a beloved family member. Keep up the great work!!YAY!! What a great end to a long week!!"
Way to go, Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch readers! Your wide sharing of this post helped Sasha get home. I am truly proud to edit a news website for such a civically engaged and caring community. Three cheers for you!
