Rhode Riverkeeper Invites Volunteers to Project Clean Stream
Members of the community will gather Saturday to try and improve the D grade the river received on its annual report card.

Interested in helping the Rhode River improve it received on its annual report card?
On Saturday, the West/Rhode Riverkeeper will host a stream cleanup effort to remove trash and debris from the watershed area.
Riverkeeper will lead volunteers in the effort Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.

The event is part of Project Clean Stream, an annual cleanup effort held across the region coordinated by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
Those interested should meet at the intersection of Muddy Creek and Old Muddy Creek roads, immediately north of Collins Road. There will be signs to direct volunteers to the parking area, located at the , Trumbauer said.
