Route 2 Accident Sends Woman to Hospital
The 49-year-old's injuries were serious but not life threatening, according to a fire department spokesman.

A woman suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries Wednesday morning when she was involved in a car accident on Route 2 in Harwood, according to a fire department spokesman.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department Chief Michael Cox said firefighters received a report of a motor vehicle accident around 11:10 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a 49-year-old woman with serious injuries.
The crew requested a helicopter to transport the injured woman, but cancelled the request after further medical consultation, Cox said.

Paramedics then transported the injured 49-year-old woman to Anne Arundel Medical Center in an ambulance. Cox said her injuries were serious but not life threatening.
