Santas to Bare it All (Almost) in Speedo Run
Last year, more than 150 runners turned out for the big event.
'Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the town, Santas sporting speedos were all running around.
On Dec. 21, the sixth-annual Annapolis Santa Speedo Run will cover downtown with nearly naked Santas, jogging a mile in the cold for—what else—children.
The event has become a holiday tradition for the hardiest and boldest of Annapolitans.
Last year, more than 150 runners turned out for the big event. Each runner brings a few toys or books for needy children, hoping to make the season a little brighter.
Live music this year will be performed by Dublin 5, and Weird Science. The event begins and ends at the parking lot of Stan & Joe's Saloon on West Street.
