Seahawks Fall to Severna Park Despite Home Run

South River's baseball team was held to just one run by a dominant lefty from Severna Park.

Joe Scott hit a home run in the fifth inning but it wasn't enough as fell to Severna Park 4-1 on Wednesday. 

Played at Severna Park, the Falcons' lefty starter allowed South River only one earned run, four hits and three walks during five innings.

Seahawks starter Scott Mitchell struck out four, walked one and allowed one earned run during his five innings. Bryan Shores came in for relief with one hit and no runs in his inning.

South River's six hits overall came from Joe Scott's homerun, Nick Raimondo's triple, two singles by Gabe Vertucci and singles from Craig Sheridan and Austin Wright.
