Specialist to Report 'Preliminary Findings' at Edgewater Elementary
Parents can hear from the air quality specialist examining Edgewater Elementary School during a meeting Tuesday night.

The who recently at School will speak at the school Tuesday night, discussing “preliminary findings” and answering questions.
Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) spokesman Bob Mosier said the meeting was in no way a “final report,” but added that the meeting would be a great place for parents to get some questions answered.

“[Ed Light] will be there to discuss the process, answer questions and then discuss some preliminary findings,” Mosier said. “It’s not a final report.”
On Jan. 18, Mosier told parents that , president of Building Dynamics, would be reviewing the air quality of the school after parents claimed the building was making their children sick during a Board of Education public hearing Jan. 12.

Building Dynamics specializes in indoor hygiene and mechanical engineering consultation.
Light visited the school three times since Jan. 18 to inspect the building and check on the parents’ concerns of high carbon dioxide levels, mold and other air quality concerns.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at . The school’s PTA president Jenny Corkill said the meeting will focus on Light and his discussion with parents.
