Entrepreneur’s Exchange Monthly Lunch Meeting

Where:  Union Jack's British Pub, 2072 Somerville Rd., Annapolis
Details: Diane Cookson of Manners for Life, Etiquette for Success, will conduct an interactive session to help attendees learn how to enhance the effectiveness of first impressions on others. Summit School Golf Tournament

Where: The Golf Club at South River, 3451 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater
Details: Over 90 golfers are expected to play at The Golf Club at South River in Edgewater, a regional favorite. Net proceeds benefit the students and faculty of The Summit School. Summit is celebrating its 25th year of educating bright children with learning differences, in grades first through eighth, to their full potential. 

Puddle Stompers, Pre-K: Spiders

Where: 647 Contees Wharf Rd, Edgewater
Details: Learn about the different types of spiders, from web builders to hunting and jumping spiders. Programs are for children ages 3-5 yrs. All classes are $8 a student, $4 siblings ages 1-2 or 6+.

Colonial Players presents 'Communicating Doors'

Mayo Civic Association Fall Garage Sale & Flea Market

Where: 1175 Central Ave., Edgewater
Details: The Mayo Civic Association will be holding its annual Fall Garage Sale & Flea Market on Oct 4&5 from 8am -2pm at its community hall located at 1175 Central Ave. East. Table rentals $10.

Halloween Haunted Trail
When: Friday, Saturday
Where:  Fairhaven School, 17900 Queen Anne Road, Upper Marlboro
Details: Strange events have been reported in the area surrounding the Patuxent River. Are you brave enough to investigate these claims? Join other seekers in search of the truth. Ticket Prices $12 ages 13 and up. $6 ages 8-12. Children 7 and under free.  Bring a non-perishable food item for the Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry and receive a $2 discount.
