No. 2—Police Charge Edgewater Auto Shop Employee with Tire Theft
An Edgewater man was charged in the theft of four tires from the Annapolis Pep Boys Auto Parts on West Street on Saturday night. Nicholas Scott Muir, 20, of Edgewater, who is also an employee of Pep Boys, was caught by an officer loading the tires into his girlfriend's Honda Civic. According to the report, Muir told police he worked for Pep Boys, and he was taking the tires because they were set out as trash. Read more here.

Eric Brown and Brad Doepkens run a business to make some money, but the two friends are just as passionate about caring for their neighbors in need. No. 4—‘Mangy’ Fox Lurking Around ‘The Landings?’
As an Edgewater resident and expectant mother, Heather Epkins gets very wary when she sees the same “mangy” fox loitering around her property. After failing to reach Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) workers to talk about the issue, the local mom said she doesn’t know what to do next. Patch learned how to handle unruly animals near local homes and what to do when they get too close for comfort.
No. 5—After Riva resident David Correy solidified a spot in the final 16 of The X Factor, the 26-year-old reiterated his dream of using his voice to find his birth mother. Since his first appearance The X Factor, Correy said he set out to meet his birth mother. According to Brazilian news outlets, he may not have to wait much longer.
